Dr. Yu has Bachelor and Master degrees in Structural Engineering and worked as structure engineer and project manager in China for over ten years. He obtained a Ph.D. degree in Construction Engineering and Management from the University of Alberta in 2010 and then joint Landmark Group to lead its R&D department. He is the lead reseracher of Landmark’s efforts in industrializing its home building process and managed multiple R&D and government funding projects that led to the development of ACQBuilt’s prefabrication technology. He is also a leading expert in building science and highly energy efficient homes, being involved in the design and construction of 30+ NetZero Energy and over 100 NetZero Energy Ready homes.
